Outfit of the Day!

Had to show you Poppy's little outfit today. I love Owls, I have owl cushions, owl earrings, lots of owly things. When I saw this knitted dress on Vertbaudet I couldn't resist! And I think it looks so cute with these tights from  Debenhams

Q&A

I’ve been tagged by @jennifermoose to complete the 10 questions meme. Here are the rules:
Answer the 10 questions
Tag someone to do the same
Return to the original post and comment when you have completed your task so that we can all find out more about our fellow bloggers!

1. Describe yourself in seven words
Clumsy, Ditzy, Happy, Laid Back, Home Girl!

2. What keeps you awake at night?
Thoughts, my other half snoring, and quite often strange dreams.

3. Who would you like to be?
As cheesy and cliche as it sounds, I really wouldn't want to be anybody else right now. I'm very happy! But if we must, I'd rather like to be Professor Brian Cox's trousers.

4. What are you wearing now?
Black jeans and a black top. I'm not a goth.

5. What scares you?
Flying, death, the thought of Poppy being harmed
6. What is the best and worst thing about blogging?
The best is being able to look back at your life. It's funny how life changes and when you've got it all written down, you realise how quickly things can change. The worst thing is that it can cause some serious procrastination!

7. What was the last website you looked at?
Twitter, of course.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I'm insecure (isn't everyone?) although I'm getting better. Having a baby makes you re-evaluate everything and you stop caring so much about the things that really aren't that much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

9. Slankets, yes or no?
I would definitely rock a slanket. I'm always flippin' cold. Might put one on the christmas list!

10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you.
I've known Bot Bot Mama via the world of the interwebs since I first conceived little Poppy. I met her on a forum, and have followed her updates right through until she gave birth to the gorgeous Brooke.

I’m going to tag all of my followers (yes, all 11 of you!)

Poppy Willow

So, long time no post. Sorry about that! I've been a bit busy having a baby.

Poppy Willow was born 12th August 2011 at 10.25pm weighing 7lb 8oz. And she's such a beauty. She didn't even have that squished newborn look when she was born, she just looked perfect. My sister joked that she looked like one of the babies on the side of packs of nappies.

She is now 3 months old and growing more beautiful and more clever every day. I've been inspired by fellow blogger Bot Bot Mama to start up mine again, although this was always my intention, I just kept forgetting to do it!

Right, so now I've checked in and let you know I'm still alive, I'll leave it there and come back soon with some more updates/general life chit chat.

TTFN!

Baby, Baby, Baby Ohhhh...

Sorry this is so late (I am now 25 weeks!) But here is our little princess at 20 weeks...

I can't believe how quick it's going! I am suffering badly with my back and pelvis this week and have an appointment with physio tomorrow so I'm hoping that will help, as I still have just over 3 months left to go.
I'll be doing a baby things blogpost soon as well as a post all about the travel system we are getting.  :-)
Ta-ra for now! xx

Sunshine & Yumminess

Sorry I haven't posted my 20 week scan picture yet - I will get to it I promise!

Well, I have had such a  lovely easter bank holiday weekend. On Thursday night we (me & my fiance, Luke) drove down to Hertfordshire to see my family. It was especially lovely seeing my 2-year-old niece and how much she's grown since I last saw her (christmas).

My Mum's back garden is only small but we still had so much fun - I had some non-alchoholic lager which was surprisingly nice, and my brother put on a yummy barbecue

We came back yesterday night (sunday) and have spent today in the local park with a picnic. Our local park is called the Abbey Gardens due to the monastary ruins that lie there, and it really is a beautiful place to sit, especially when the sun is shining :)

Hope you had a lovely Easter, too! :) xx

I'm BACK! 20 Weeks Pregnant

So I'm back to the blogging business. After suffering a missed miscarriage last year, I wrote a blog post to help get some of my feelings out I guess, but I've decided to start blogging again now that I'm pregnant again! I'm a bit late, because I'm already halfway through this pregnancy now (I'm 20 weeks tomorrow) but hey, better late than never.

We had a scan at 9 weeks and again at 12 weeks and all was well with baby. I've got my 20 week (anomaly) scan tomorrow and am basically a complete mix of both excitement and nerves.
I've been feeling movement for the past couple of weeks, but don't seem to have felt anything for the past couple of days which has made me a little nervous.

Anyways, I'll blog after the scan and hopefully upload a picture :)
